Bars Team Lead

We have an exciting new opportunity at Reading University Students’ Union! We are looking for a Bars Team Lead! 

The successful candidate will work with the commercial team to offer a fantastic and exciting service to the students, assisting in the running of our fantastic bars and events.

RUSU is a student-led charity that, together with running a nursery, supports and represents over 20,000 students at Reading. From providing advice on finance and housing, to running the biggest club nights in Reading and everything in between, our purpose is to improve student life. The Bars Team Lead will report to the Commercial Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing a team of student staff, ensuring all staff are serving customers in line with RUSUs and the brands high standards and service expectations, ensuring all bars operate safely, hygienically and efficiently, assist in ensuring legal compliance relating to licensing and sales of alcohol and food. The role is required to work a pattern of shifts including regular weekends and evenings with longer hours during term time and 28 hours a week during vacations.
