Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Business Travel Support Specialist to join a highly successful travel company, hybrid working model based in London. Ideal for a corporate travel professional with experience in support and fares seeking career progression and something a little different.

Experienced Business Travel Support Specialist Duties:

  • Answer telephone in polite, timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to requests sent to the Support Service Desk
  • Assisting new consultants with any set up requests
  • Assist with requests related to issuing/reissuing/refunding tickets
  • Report and log all complaints / praises to your Line Manager and to respond as directed.
  • Run short training on how to ensure bookings are sent from GDS to Roomservice
  • Manning the UK Hotels inbox to ensure all emails are distributed accordingly
  • Providing assistance with group bookings, i.e. BA portal
  • Create set up for aggregators such as Booking.com
  • Assisting in identifying your training needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Business travel experience is essential
  • Excellent Galileo and Sabre skills including strong fares & ticketing knowledge (published and net fares) – Amadeus is a bonus
  • Good British & European Rail knowledge including Evolvi / Voyages SNCF / Trainline
  • Excellent all round travel products knowledge
  • Exceptional communication & customer service skills
  • A good command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Good fares knowledge, qualified to a minimum level of British Airways Fares 2.
