Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager, Imperial London Hotels

Location: ILH Offices, Royal National Hotel, London WC1H 0DG

Salary: £40-45k

 

Summary

We are looking for a talented digital manager to drive our digital marketing strategy. This is a brand new role to ILH as part of the evolution of the Brand & Marketing team and as such we are looking for someone who can lead and execute a commercially astute and brand enhancing plan, including paid & organic search, web development, email communications and social media. We are not looking for perfection, but for someone with a blend of core experience and an enthusiasm to be a part of building a brand from its foundations.

Imperial London Hotels has been running hotels in Central London for over 180 years, currently operating seven 3 & 4-star hotels in the heart of Bloomsbury.  Independent and family-owned, ILH has a unique heritage and culture that remains its foundation as it evolves and modernises. The portfolio includes The Royal National Hotel which remains UK largest hotel with over 1,600 rooms.  Following a major refurbishment, The Imperial Hotel will open as ILH flagship 4* Deluxe Hotel in 2024.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for customer acquisition and retention across all channels, including paid search, paid social, affiliates, email, SEO and display
  • Develop testing plans across the channels including creative, copy, landing pages and user flows to optimise conversion
  • Own social media properties and engagement strategies, and manage on a day-to-day basis
  • Build and maintain relationships with digital agencies and partners
  • Work closely with Brand & Design to ensure channel campaigns reflect brand values and assets are optimised to maximise traffic and revenue
  • Provide regular reporting using Google Analytics as well as each channel's own attributed reporting.
  • Effectively manage the digital marketing budget and optimise ROAS

 

 

Experience & Skills

You will need to have experience in…

  • A similar role/function for at least 3 years
  • Leading and managing SEO/SEM, email and social media campaigns
  • Management of external agencies
  • A/B and multivariate testing, as well as personalising and optimising content.
  • Good knowledge of email technology platforms, web analytics, customer database

 

You will need to be…

  • Highly analytical with familiarity of CRM platforms and analytics tools eg. Google Analytics
  • Proactive and self-driven, able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices
  • Available to work from our offices in Bloomsbury at least 3 days per week
