Technical Business Analyst - Travel Industry
An exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable travel company where you will be responsible for translating business needs to the technical teams, evaluating solutions from different technical suppliers and supporting with the implementation process.

Technical Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for supporting with the testing and deployment of new technologies, help prepare training materials for the users, analyse how different interfaces should be used to address business requirements and using process improvement analysis to resolve technical issues.
You will recommend ways to support business change using technologies, analyse ways to support the finance and invoicing function with supplier settlement and use your technical knowledge to improve processes when it comes to reservations, flight booking, ticketing and fare quoting.

Technical Business Analyst - Skills & Experience Required:

• Technical / business analysis experience gained in the travel industry ideally within a tour operator.
• Good knowledge of tour operators work is essential, from commercial, operational and technical points of view. Key business areas of focus for this role include: Air, host-to-host links and finance processes.
• An appreciation of the commercial and technical issues when it comes to selling leisure travel and air products.
• Experience of one or more GDS, technical aggregators and 'on demand' accommodation providers.
• Knowledge of reporting tools and SQL would be an advantage
• Knowledge of back office systems, payment processing and how this integrates with sales systems

Technical Business Analyst - Additional Information:

• Salary circa £35k depending on experience.
• This is a hybrid role, minimum of 3 days per month required in the office in Surrey
