With our aim to be net zero by 2050 we are forward thinking and with that we are currently trialling a new food for now offer in some of our Wild Bean Café retail stores, so we are looking for an experienced food manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting, innovative and market leading change in retail convenience. With all trials there will be some obstacles, so we are looking for someone who is resilient, open minded and up for the challenge!

What we are looking for
An experience individual with a passion for food, customer service and leading a team. We want people that can work in a fast-paced environment, are adaptable and who can think on their feet. We want a leader that takes pride in delivering quality food and can upskill and motivate the team to do the same. Ideally, we are looking for you to have some experience in food hospitality as your knowledge would be welcomed. This is a brand-new role to the business, so we need someone that has experience in food and beverage delivery to customers, as well as leading a team.
Desired Skills - Food Safety Level 2 and Barista trained would be advantageous.
What are you responsible for:
As WBC Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the café, including the new food for now menu.
- Accountable for the performance and success of the WBC Taking leadership of the WBC team, and Customer Service Assistant’s (CSA’s) Ownership for stock rotation, ordering & replenishment Passionate in reviewing ingredient & product quality, delivering excellent food & beverage, with the confidence to speak up when problems arise Making sure that safety of yourself, your team and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority Ensure legal and safety compliance through all of the stores operations e.g, food safety and underage sales Assist other parts of the store wherever necessary and maintain great working relationships
