Travel Support Executive
We are working on behalf of this market leading travel company who operate a wide range of worldwide escorted touring holidays, to recruit a Travel Support Executive. In this role, you will be providing daily support to tour managers, pre travel, on tour and post travel, to ensure they have all the information they require to lead a successful tour. This is a varied role which would suit candidates with strong communication and people skills, with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to prioritise a busy workload. This role is predominantly home based, but occasional requirement to travel to the Crawley office as required.

Travel Support Executive - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing recruitment of experienced tour managers and allocation of the most suitable manager to each tour, based on experience and knowledge.
  • Ensuing tour managers are provided with timely information & are fully briefed pre tour and supported throughout to ensure the best experience for customers.
  • Provide relevant teams in the business with details of any areas of concern based on feedback from tour managers in relation to health & safety, product, quality issues etc.
  • Ongoing assessment of tour manager performance based on customer feedback and post trip reports to ensure customers are provided with the highest quality of care and service for every tour.
  • Management of tour manager bookings and the creation of all documents and all administrative tasks / payments associated with the tour leaders.
  • Assist with the organisation of the annual tour managers conference.

Travel Support Executive - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in the travel industry working for a tour operator or in retail travel within a customer service, operations, or administrative role.
  • Exceptional people skills with the confidence and ability to influence and provide feedback both positive and negative.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Customer and quality focused, with a pro-active approach to problem solving and confidence to challenge process.
  • Experience with producing reports and strong working knowledge of Microsoft word & excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy environment and prioritise workloads.
  • Strong team player

Travel Support Executive - Additional Information:

  • Salary of £24k.
  • Remote working or Hybrid with occasional requirement to visit the office in Crawley.
  • Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 (35 hours per week).
