Italian speaking travel consultant

My client is seeking an Italian speaking luxury travel professional to join their growing team in Central London. The new member of staff with have a track record of excellent service levels, 2 years in a sales/reservations environment, European travel exposure and be fluent in Italian. In return this reputable firm are offering £27k salary, strong commission opportunities, a hybrid working setup and a program offering travel for staff members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to enquires via phone and email, taking the customer through the journey to the point of booking
• Use correct telephone and email techniques when dealing with both internal and external customers and maintain the highest standard of courtesy, ability to truly engage with our guests, whilst achieving the Customer Service Standards and Leading Quality Assurance Standards (LQAs).
• Upselling and utilising add ons to ensure best results for client and company
• Obtain detailed knowledge of all current products; details on rates, availability and seasons will be key
• Act as a problem solver, both for clients and suppliers
• Use language skills to ensure a smoother reservation process for clients and suppliers
• Supporting the global reservations offices.

Requirements

• At least two year's work experience in a sales/ reservations office environment.
• Excellent command of the English language
• Fluency in Italian
• Record of dealing with clients through multiple channels: face to face, telephone, email
• Committed to providing the highest service standards
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Effective time management skills
• Must have a background in travel consultancy or luxury sales
