Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager - Specialist Cruise Company - Home Based. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Travel Industry Sales professional to join a European, boutique cruise operator, responsible for driving sales and distribution across the North of America. You will be remotely/home based in the tri-state area, with regular travel to visit prospective clients as required.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Business Development, you will be responsible for creating and driving a B2B sales strategy that will contribute to increasing passengers. You will be negotiating commercial agreements with travel trade partners, increasing brand awareness and representing the company at industry events.

Business Development Manager Skills Required

• Experience selling to the Travel Trade, preferably within the cruise industry.
• Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and ambitious sales professional
• Strong commercial acumen

Business Development Package

A basic salary up to $75,000 per annum (depending on experience) + on target 20% bonus (uncapped), medical/health benefits, phone, laptop and all business travel related expenses
