This prestigious tour operator are looking for a Content Team Leader to join their small friendly team on an initial 1 year maternity cover basis. Reporting into the Digital Content Manager the Content Team Leader will be ensuring the content team deliver high quality digital content. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with considerable copywriting and proofreading experience looking to develop their skills and work for one of the UK's leading tour operators.

Content Team Leader - Role & Responsibilities:

• Accountable for managing all new content within agreed timescales
• Responsible for managing the end to end process for loading hotel & ancillary product content into the content management system
• Writing, editing and publishing high quality online copy
• Ensuring content adheres to corporate guidelines and there is consistency of style across the brand.
• Writing and editing assigned destination and marketing content
• Ensuring SEO copy meets required standards as well as managing the end to end process for destination pages
• Contribute towards managing and developing the performance of the Content Executives
• Accountable for overseeing the day to day workload of the digital content team as well as providing every day support and guidance to the Copywriter and Content Executives

Content Team Leader - Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience of writing online content and use of Web Publishing tools
• Proven knowledge of online content market trends
• Ability to create credibility both internally and externally
• Experience of using a content management system
• Excellent literacy, creative writing & proofreading skills
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Content Team Leader - Additional Information:

• Salary circa £30k
• Initial 1 year maternity cover basis
• Monday to Friday - 9 to 5.30 with flexi time available at the start and end of the day.
• Hybrid working - circa 2 days in the office after training
