Group Manager - Midlands Based

Up to £43,000 per annum (DOE) + Company Car

Mobile working role. 

We are seeking a Group Manager to join our team on our Princes Food Account. As the Group Manager you will need to be energetic, professional and strategically driven to get the most from suppliers and manufacturers to work with units to properly plan for the business needs. You will need to have an organised approach towards work.

The role will manage 9 sites within a specific contract across the UK to provide exceptional Foodservice solutions at 4 catering locations located in Bradford, Cardiff, Long Sutton and Wisbech to the client that exceed customer requirements, whilst delivering key financial targets and contract specifications. In addition, this role will manage subcontracted cleaning & vending services across the total 9 locations. This role will develop and lead a team of managers, as well as manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities are:

  • Ensure delivery of continuous improvement plans
  • Ensure all contracts are compliant and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets
  • Adherence to all client and company Policies
  • Ensure delivery and management of labour strategy in line with contract specifications
  • Delivery of all HSE requirements both contractually and legislatively
  • Management of required licenses
  • Monitor and delivery of contractual and internal KPI’s, identify and help develop continuous improvements
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Achievement of financial budgets
  • Training and development of all employees
  • Maintain /monitor Sub-Contractor adherence to client and company policy
  • Assist in the development of strategies for growth and retention
  • Ensure the implementation of any governance and communication strategies

Essential

  • Ability to work flexibly & remotely with multi site operational experience
  • Management experience leading and inspiring operational teams, working within brand guidelines to deliver results
  • Successful implementation of any change programmes to deliver operational benefits 
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills  
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience at management level - value in excess £1M (contract / regional management) or ability to demonstrate they have the desired acumen to discharge the role as set out in the Key Accountabilities
  • Demonstrable financial acumen applicable for the role requirements in managing a P&L
  • Excellent management skills
  • Have a proven track record of delivering client / customer satisfaction through their teams
  • Valid driving license and active driver

Desirable

  • Experience of managing soft services - cleaning bias. 
  • Experience in highly commercial and price sensitive markets
