Job Details
Our client, a fast-growing, independent Travel Management Company based in Glasgow are looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join their team on a hybrid-working basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a range of accounts including marine and off-shore and therefore experience of working with marine fares is essential for the role.

Role of Marine Business Travel Consultant:
- Working on a mixture of accounts (with a focus on Marine) booking flights, hotels and all manner of travel arrangements using Amadeus
- Answering calls and emails from business travel clients in a polite, efficient and professional manner
- Offering a high standard of customer service and expert guidance at all times
- Sourcing the best and most cost effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel and all ground products.
- Ticketing and invoicing
Skills required for the role:
- Strong proficiency on Amadeus GDS
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Travel Consultant and experience with marine fares
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Strong fares knowledge
- A pro-active and motived approach
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
