We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join a leading Tour Operator based in Birmingham.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, your role will be to assist them in all aspects of brand and campaign planning and implementation to deliver agreed objectives. You’ll use your excellent organisational skills to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and use your creative eye to deliver engaging content for the wider audience and proactively seek ways to enhance our marketing plans and delivery.

Role of Travel Marketing Coordinator:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in all aspects of campaign planning.
  • Coordinating the implementation of marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Assist with the annual Marketing Plan from planning to execution.
  • Collaboratively developing new content ideas and seeing them through to delivery.
  • Support with the maintenance of all websites and social media channels.
  • Create digital assets for all channels.
  • Create accurate and engaging communications both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the production of marketing materials and literature.
  • Write and proof-read compelling copy.
  • Ensuring all content are aligned with main campaign themes and brand.
  • Monitor competitor’s activities and industry trends.

Skills required for the role:

  • Creative, proactive, self-starter.
  • Strong time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Photoshop, Canva and Mailchimp desirable.
  • Commitment to excellence, high quality and continuous improvement.
  • Dynamic and capable of building positive and productive working relationships.
  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment – travel industry desirable but not essential.
