The Travel Network Group has its own network of 18 travel agencies across the UK. We are building a best in class retail travel agency business, delivering world class customer service and inspiring our customers to travel the world. We are constantly monitoring customer buying patterns and looking for new and innovative ways to attract customers into our store and to build loyalty and repeat business.

Summary of the role

In this role you will work within The Travel Network Group marketing team, with a remit for localised retail marketing for our shops. You will be part of the TTNG Retail leadership team alongside shop managers, coordinating and overseeing a consistent approach to local marketing activity and business development action plans across our shop network. This will involve:

  • Social Media
  • Postcode Drops and Direct mail
  • Print Advertising
  • In-store display
  • Local PR activity
  • Instore and virtual customer events
  • Customer database management
  • Competitor analysis

Role requirements:

  • 3 years travel industry or marketing experience

Skills required:

  • Understanding of a multi-channel approach to marketing (social, search, content, press, paid media etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and presenting skills
  • Flexible, social and a team player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and some basic image editing
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
  • Strong attention to detail and proof reading skills
