Head of Product

Head of Product - Travel Industry - Near Sheffield / Hybrid. A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, reputable and growing travel business based near Sheffield where you will be responsible for taking ownership of the product / contracting teams and overseeing the delivery of their product to customers.

Head of Product Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the board, you will be responsible for overseeing the UK & European product team of 5. You will oversee the contracting with all suppliers including hotels, attractions and DMC's, ensuring competitive terms are agreed and continual improvement of the product to enhance customer satisfaction. Utilising data analytics and KPI's, you will monitor the products performance, ensure quality control across all products, monitor customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and drive best practice.

Head of Product Skills Required

• Strong commercial awareness and customer centric minded
• A track record of product/purchasing gained in the travel industry with a focus on European product (UK experience would also be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent supplier management skills
• Track record of leading, developing and growing teams
• Analytical and results focussed

Head of Product additional details

• A competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience per annum depending on experience, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking, discounted travel, auto enrolment pension.
• Whilst there is a good deal of flexibility for hybrid working, there is also a requirement to do at least 4 days per month in the office (new Sheffield) per month which could be once a week or a couple of days together a fortnight.
