Our client, a global Business Travel agency, are recruiting for a Pricing Manager to join their multi award-winning team.

The Pricing Manager will be responsible for analysis of airline pricing, and customer data, to identify trends and maximise margin opportunities for the UK, US and Europe market. They will monitor, analyse, and adjust pricing to meet and exceed revenue management targets.

Role of Pricing Manager:

  • Responsible for pricing strategy formulation in all markets and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters
  • Analyse data to drive sound recommendations/action plans based on insights to optimize revenue
  • Be responsible for daily monitoring of airline pricing and mark-ups
  • Identify seasonal demand fluctuations and ensure the appropriate strategy is in place for each of the seasons
  • Update complex pricing matrices on a daily basis in Excel with thorough testing to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Optimise revenue per ticket for all tier 1 airline partners globally
  • Work collaboratively with Ops team managers to manage KPI performance targets of reservations teams
  • Monitor and manage Tactical Pricing with monthly updates to Sales and process ad-hoc changes. 
  • Investigate different tactical pricing models
  • Attend all offered training to ensure all knowledge of Rail fares, services, products, and benefits thereof are kept fully up to date
  • Assist with benchmarking exercises and internal and external queries
  • Mentor and provide assistance to the fares consultant as required

Skills required for the role:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar pricing manager role
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret trends as reviewed in key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Good technical skills and knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel
  • Knowledge of industry technologies (GDSs, distribution systems)
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have strong and proven problem-solving skills
  • Strong initiative and excellent communication skills
