Recognised by the Sunday Times as one of the best 100 companies to work for this successful Independent Travel Agency are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for assisting the branch manager in motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service in order to maximise sales while ensuring the branch runs smoothly.

Assistant Manager Role and Responsibilities

• Assist branch manager to ensure overall profitability and effective day to day operations.
• Using social media to promote offers and generate customer engagement.
• Attend managers meeting and promotional events.
• Assist with the supervision and coaching of staff.

Assistant Manager Skills and Experience Required

• Two years' experience working as a Travel Consultant.
• Excellent worldwide destination knowledge.
• Good accuracy and numerical skills with the ability to understand financial statistics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Competent IT skills.

Assistant Manager Additional Information

• Salary circa £25,000 plus uncapped bonus.
• Discounted staff holidays.
• The opportunity to travel on educational trips.
