For over 40 years, our Multi-Award Winning client ( Worldwide Tour Operator) has been bringing together the world’s most popular destinations, hotels, and imaginative holiday itineraries.  

Due to their on-going growth, they are on the lookout for passionate, talented, outgoing and enthusiastic Travel Consultants to join their remote / homeworking Customer Experience Team. You will be selling a wide selection of Holidays, including Tours to worldwide destinations to both Direct Customers and Travel Agents as well as dealing with pre-departure enquiries.

Travel Consultant (Customer Experience Executive) Job Overview:

To promptly deal with all customer interactions throughout the customer lifecycle. To maximise conversion opportunities and to deliver outstanding customer service.

The Role:

  • To ensure all incoming calls are answered promptly and dealt with to the best of ability
  • Respond to and follow up any sales or customer care enquiries received by email, telephone, webchat, or any other channel
  • To accurately complete bookings and amendments following instructions and using correct codes, prices and taking care to update new client database
  • Maximise up sale opportunities by ensuring that clients are offered all upgrades and extras on every booking
  • Assisting clients with all further customer care activities including collecting payments, booking ancillaries with airlines, informing clients of changes to their holiday, processing brochure order requests and general queries from the clients
  • Attend any relevant training/overseas educational visits provided by the company to develop knowledge and skills
  • Ensure clients are sent any relevant holiday documentation upon booking and explaining online check in and Manage my Booking
  • Working 37.5 hours, 5 days per week between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm, Monday through Sunday
  • Please note this role involves working some weekend days during the month

If your one and only Microsoft Teams (video) interview is successful with the Tour Operator, you will be offered their exciting travel role to commence your 2 weeks training programme. The training is held from 9am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday. This will take place at our client's Head Office in South East London.

THIS IS A PERMANENT PORITION AND YOUR TRAINING IS ON FULL SALARY. After you complete your 2 weeks training, you'll be working from home 37.5 hours, 5 days per week. The tour operator is open from 9am – 7pm, 7 days a week.

For candidates living in different parts of the UK, our client will provide FREE hotel accommodation by their Head Office (staying at the Premier Inn) during the 2 weeks, Monday to Friday, training programme. This Tour Operator's Head office is a short train ride from London Bridge Station.
