PR manager

PR manager - Required this this expanding tour operator. They are looking for PR experience within the travel industry. Salary up to 45k, plus great benefits. Home based or Hybrid.

PR managers duties
-Working closely with the Head of Marketing and the CCO to implement the company's PR strategy for driving awareness of their brands in the consumer travel media.
-The role will involve building and managing press lists of travel journalists and key industry figures
-You will be responsible for distribution of press releases and also responding to journalist requests in a timely manner
-Arranging press trips for journalists which includes coordinating and managing their travel logistics
-Act as the main point of contact to liaise with the company's existing PR agency in the UK and the US
-Be responsible for article/story ideation and composing journalist pitches, including reactive PR campaigns
-Writing various materials which includes press releases, website content, brochure content, media pitches, fact sheets and other communications
-Doing monthly media monitoring and reporting along with trend spotting

PR managers skills required
-A minimum of 3 years of PR experience in the travel sector either for a travel company or a PR agency is essential
-A natural flair for creativity and the ability to identify growth opportunities
-Very strong written, verbal communication and copywriting skills
-A well organised individual with the ability to multitask
-Video and photo editing skills would be a bonus
