Travel Consultant

HOMEWORKING TRAVEL CONSULTANT OPPORTUNITY! Are you an experienced travel professional who is looking for a new challenge within the travel industry? Have you recently worked within the travel industry as a travel agent or consultant and are keen to return to the wonderful world of travel? I am currently recruiting for an amazing travel company who are looking for people to join their well-established team on a homeworking basis! My client a leading tour operator are looking for a Travel Sales Agent to help drive sales for worldwide holidays.

Ideally you will have travel experience, customer service or an interest of travel for this role so that you will have the ability to offer first-hand knowledge of the amazing destinations this company have to offer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As a Sales Agent, you will be:
• Receive sales enquiries from B2B customers answering them efficiently
• In this environment, you will deal with a mix of Retail branches, Consortium members and homeworkers
• Assist and advise customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
• Provide unrivalled customer service by continuously going the extra mile
• Sell a range of products, including tailor made itineraries, Cruise packages, Eurostar, long & short haul, City Break experiences and more.
• Achieve sales targets by maximising selling opportunities of products at every opportunity
• Actively participate in training to enhance knowledge and personal development
• Provide first level support to customers on any queries they may have on their booking on company products
• Maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Your shift pattern may include some evenings and weekends, but we value your time outside of work and we'll make sure your rota is available 4-weeks in advance - giving you peace of mind to be able to make the most of your days off

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Tour Operations or a similar retail travel role
• Passion and enthusiasm for Travel and Holidays
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and bank holidays
