Cruise Travel Consultant

Love specialising in cruise but want your evenings back? We are seeking a passionate Cruise Travel Consultant for an independent online travel agency, to sell a huge variety of cruise and cruise & stay itineraries. Hours are 5 days out of 7, 0900-1730 mid-week, 0900-1800 Sat, 1000-1700 Sun, so great if you are keen to have your evenings back this is a perfect specialist Travel Consultant role, based from home. Starting salary is negotiable, and but there is commission, incentives, vouchers, guaranteed Educational trips and discounted travel!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Take calls, emails and web chats from customers and help them plan their cruises! Using your knowledge to find the right cruise for our customers.
• Quoting from a huge range of cruises and tailor-made cruise holidays.
• Working to secure the booking and make the sale, you are supported by experienced customer service, back-office admin and marketing teams, you can dedicate your time to your customer and your sales
• Working a flexible shift pattern 5 days out of 7, 0900-1730 mid-week, 0900-1800 Sat, 1000-1700 Sun. They can accommodate various working patterns (full and part-time) making sure you are available for customers but allowing you to strike a balance with work and home.

THE PACKAGE:

Starting salary is very much dependent on experience, but in the region of £21k - £24k pa, plus commission (discussed at interview), plus lots of additional incentives, educationals and discounts. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous experience within the Travel Industry with a good general knowledge of cruise product and experience of selling a variety of experience is a must. Maybe you have already worked for a cruise specialist travel company, or you have worked within the wider leisure travel industry, sold cruise as part of your role and love cruise. Or do you work in travel, but enjoy cruises and have cruised yourself, so could bring the knowledge and passion!
