The Job:

  • Run Trade (B2B) Facebook page.
  • Create comprehensive social media content calendar.
  • Post content regularly
  • Monitor our presence and provide responses to contact from travel agent partners.
  • Measure and report on the success of activities
  • Monitor and track competitive landscape.
  • Feeding local content to consumer social media sites via Global team (events, awards etc)
  • Organise, manage, and attend all trade and consumer UK & Ireland events.
  • Assisting with events including creating and sending invitations and monitoring RSVPS, answering general queries
  • Production of all supporting material including roll-up displays, merchandise, collateral while controlling stock levels.
  • On site event management including stand set up, staff management, liaising with customers, travel agent partners and suppliers.
  • Research venues and resource items and suppliers for all events
  • Report on event and campaign performance, evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Manage our partnerships with external B2C and B2B suppliers.
  • Project manage the consumer and trade webinar programs.
  • Investigate data and compile reports.
  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations for sales team
  • Provide general support for the Marketing team, as required, print and digital.
  • Manage the UK marketing inbox and update all consumer database queries/opt outs.
  • Assist with proof reading of brochures, direct mail, emails, general collateral.
  • Coordinate advert artwork/ email production for local trade/consumer messages.
  • Coordinate overbrand programme for tactical trade DM.
  • General departmental administration

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum GCSE level.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience of working in the travel sector, beneficial
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail
  • Very high standard of written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with social media
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • A self-starter who can work both independently, and as a positive team-player working towards a common goal.
  • Willing to travel.

The Package:

  • Salary £35,000
  • Central London (Monday - Thursday in the office, Friday working from home)
