Product & Contracting Manager opportunity for a market leading travel company specialising in group hospitality for dining & entertainment and excursions. Scotland being one of their biggest markets outside the South-East, they are seeking someone to be based remotely in Scotland to continue to develop and grow the business through negotiating and contracting with suppliers such as restaurants, venues, excursion companies, throughout Scotland and some cover for the North West of England too. If you have experience inbuilding relationships and negotiating terms from a Travel or Hospitality background, this is the role you have been looking for! The successful candidate will ideally be based in Liverpool, Glasgow or Edinburgh.


  • The success of this company has been built on attention to detail and the sound understanding of the needs and aspirations of customers and suppliers.
  • You will be responsible for contracting predominately restaurants and attractions in the North West of England & Scotland to fulfil Key trade/B2B and B2C demands.
  • Ensure existing and new supplier relationships are built and maintained to maximize all commercial opportunities.
  • Manage your time and diary, but spending approximately 40% of your time attending site visits, FAMs and workshops across the UK and Ireland
  • Negotiate competitive rates and conditions for all land services notably restaurants & attractions
  • Product development - source new venues and be proactive in proposing new products
  • Provide product updates and presentations of new products or packages to B2B clients
  • To propose, plan and attend business trips and meetings in order to negotiate and renegotiate contracts
  • Ensure existing and new supplier relationships are built and maintained to maximize all commercial opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyse statistics via software products to benefit effective negotiations and product analysis for re contracting
  • To develop and maintain commercially advantageous business relationships with our suppliers
  • Ensure all contracts are completed accurately and in full with all information being set up in a timely fashion
  • To liaise with all internal departments to ensure all departments are fully up to date these include, finance, systems, sales & marketing.
  • Negotiate added-value deals, overrides and special offer

Further duties as required


  • You will have previous experience within a similar role from a Travel or Hospitality company,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Additional languages desirable particularly German or French as is a knowledge of UK and Northern European cities
  • Desirable - Previous experience in a UK travel industry

Experience of the UK inbound market


Full benefits and package details to be discussed at application stage, but starting salary is up to £30k pa dependent on experience. You can be based anywhere in Scotland but must be able to drive and have your one car. Candidates based in Liverpool will potentially be considered too.
