Your responsibilities include new business development, lead generation, prospect qualification, sales proposal preparation, and meeting sales targets. As part of our small but growing team, you’ll also collaborate with the Managing Director and General Manager to devise and implement strategies for market expansion.

•    Ensure timely and high-quality communication
•    Contribute to the company’s marketing strategy by identifying customer trends, competition status, and growth opportunities
•    Maintain detailed notes on prospects using the company CRM
•    Perform other ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience:
This role is ideal for a seasoned salesperson with 5+ years of experience and a proven track record of success, ideally in the travel or tour operations sector.

Key skills and experiences include:
•    Proven experience in a similar sales or client relationship management role
•    Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
•    Able to thrive in a small business environment where you are both strategic and hands-on

Desirable:
•    Broad knowledge of commercial aspects relating to branding and marketing
•    Understanding of the different components of delivering an overseas trip
•    Previous sales experience in the education or youth travel market
•    Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Qualities:
•    Customer-centric
•    Motivated by targets
•    Proactive, confident, and outgoing nature
•    Commercial awareness and ability to identify strategic opportunities
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Comfortable with technology
