Established reputable travel company are keen to recruit a Ticketing Consultant to their team. This is a great time to join; they're the leading travel agency East England and have an established Tour Operations. Having won praise for their service of cancellations and refunds during the pandemic, they're now experiencing huge demand and onward bookings, making it the perfect time to grow. If you have previous experience of ticketing using a GDS (Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus) then this is a great opportunity to join the head office team near Cambridge, with flexibility to work 2 days from home per week. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Working within a team of Travel Experts, who are split into the Inbound Telesales Team, the Customer Service Team and the Ticketing Team
  • Responsible for issuing, refunding, and exchanging flight tickets in Galileo
  • Checking the production of all travel documentation (tickets, itineraries, hotel, transfers, and excursion vouchers)
  • Hybrid workers need previous travel Industry experience
  • Working under pressure to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Working within a team, being exceptionally organised with good time management skills
  • Working Mon-Fri 0900-1730 (rota for Saturdays 0900-1700 approximately two in four)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

We are seeking someone with previous experience of ticketing using a GDS such as Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus.

We will consider someone who works in travel that would like to be trained on ticketing.

This role is based primarily in offices east of Cambridge, so you would need to be within a commutable distance, but there is flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

THE PACKAGE:

The staring salary is dependent on experience and there is future progression/growth opportunity. There are a variety of benefits in addition including: opportunity to work from home twice a week, excellent staff rates for holidays, additional friends & family holiday discounts, free parking, contributory pension.

Full-time working: 5 days per week during Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 and Saturday, 09:00-1700 (work approx. two in four Saturdays on rotation)

Part-time Working: 3 days per week plus two in four Saturdays on rotation
