We're looking for a Galileo proficent Flight Sales Executive to join an award-winning, tailor-made holiday company in a hybrid, or fully home based role.

The role of Flight Sales Executive is integral to our client's success and its primary focus is on finding the best airfares and secure optimal prices for their product offerings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analysing flight prices and trends, ensuring that the sales team is equipped with invaluable insights into the best fares available.  Through strategic pricing strategies and continuous market analysis, ths role plays a vital part in maximising profitability and maintaining a competitive edge in the tour operator market.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential for the position, along with a minimum of two years Galileo experience and in return, our client can offer fully homebased working, a competitive salary of £35k plus great travel industry benefits.

Role of Flight Sales Executive:

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day management of researching and communicating the latest flight prices and deals
  • Responsible for the comprehensive daily analysis of flights prices, performance in relation to seasonality and booking trends
  • Responsible for providing analysis to the Director of Product Development daily in relation to price competitiveness
  • Sourcing marketing leading prices in all seat categories to maximise individual booking profitability
  • Co-ordinating with the marketing team regarding promotional campaigns to ensure best in market rates are applied to all promotions
  • Take ownership of day-to-day management of Ancillaries products including UK car parking, Airport hotels, Car Hire, UK transfers, airport lounges and airport services
  • Liasing with the Destination Management team to maximise hotel room upgrades and local services
  • Maximise profitability of flight seat component by identifying commercial opportunities in the market
  • Support Head of Partnerships to ensure the business achieves all marketing income opportunities
  • Create, maintain and nurture relationships with new and existing airline partners

Skills required for the role:

  • Proficient in Galileo GDS - minimum 2 years experience
  • Capable of influencing cross-departmentally
  • Ability to analyse business performance within a geographical area and take appropriate actions
  • Skilled in making decisions supported by qualitative and quantitative data
  • Commercially aware, customer focussed and performance driven
  • Capable of compiling and analysing data across various platforms
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
