We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Sales and Marketing to work for a leading Marketing Representation Company that have a wide portfolio of Hotels and Destination Management Company on their books. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive revenue and maintain our position as a leader in the hospitality market. Representing 40 destinations globally and 22 individual hotels, they are committed to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for our guests. Starting salary circa £60k - £65k pa with additional targeted earnings and benefits.


  • Responsible for the development and delivery of an effective strategy to drive revenues across all segments of the business, with strong emphasis with primary focus on Leisure Sales and Luxury Consortia.
  • Work with the broader team to ensure that we are capitalising on all opportunities in Leisure, Luxury Consortia and MICE.
  • Responsible for working with managing directors and steering the overall company strategy to ensure growth in the overall portfolio, new clients, and markets.
  • Deputising when managing directors are not available and running the overall company operation.
  • Meeting with key stakeholders on behalf of the company. Articulating the company vision and strategy.
  • Work with the sales support and marketing team to execute effective sales strategies and outcomes in line with the requirements set out by contracted hotels and DMCs.
  • Relationship management and key contact.
  • Responsible for identifying, pitching, and recruiting and managing relationships with new hotels and DMCs.
  • Responsible for Sales and Marketing plan for the entire Pearl portfolio in collaboration with all directors.
  • Responsible for a pro-active sales team, training, setting targets nurturing their development to produce results from established clients with a big focus on new business.
  • Working with finance, accounting to ensure that all contracted clients are meeting their contracted requirements and paid all invoices.
  • Submit ongoing marketing budget for review and approval.
  • Understand of where we are tracking against set budgets and working with key partners to ensure that the financials are being reported.
  • Working closely with the hotels and DMCs by setting up quarterly business focus meetings to present current activities, future activities, pace, opportunities, and definite business.
  • Attending key tradeshows and sales calls.
  • Together with the managing partners, Direct the team to define the methodologies and tactics needed to convey brand messages in a unique and compelling manager to existing and prospective customers.
  • Analyse, develop and implement top-level market and business strategies from identifying new commercial opportunities, to developing new distribution channels or helping to bid for new clients/projects.
  • Establish clear and effective communication channels both internally and externally.
  • Lead and develop your Sales & Marketing team by proactively coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Conduct weekly snapshot meetings with your team and up update on activities/sales to date and plans for the weeks ahead.
  • Monitor the progress of your sales team through weekly activity reports.
  • Encourage positive working relations with all departments by regular communications and feedback.
  • Direct line management of the Leisure sales team.


  • At least 5 years' experience in hotel and destination sales
  • Role to be UK based and client facing.
  • Commercially focused, have the ability to analyse market data and be results driven.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Articulate, confident communicator at all levels both with colleagues and clients.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing including web analytics metrics and tools.
  • Ambitious, creative and the ability to influence decisions.
  • Ability to travel through the UK and internationally.
  • High level of customer focus and understanding.


  • Salary negotiable but in the region of £65K plus extra benefits to be discussed in interview
  • REMOTE but in the office once a month and must understand what the requirements of the work stream are and plan to be in the office when they need to be.
