Job Overview
An opportunity for an articulate, creative and enthusiastic team player. Experience in relationship
development, event management and business development with key industry executives, both face
to face and over the telephone is a must.
The ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers is vital. Experience within exhibitions
would be an advantage.
Roles / Responsibilities
• Oversee the recruitment of buyer registrations for the programme of events with a primary
focus on the event to be held in collaboration with Saudi Tourism Authority in 2025
• Prioritise agencies for key account management
• Work with contracted suppliers to identify and recruit new and highly desirable agents to
attend current and future programmes
• Engage with approved buyers to identify new potential recommended agents to attend future
events
• Investigate and build the database of specialists for participation in future programmes
• Contribute to the International team in identifying new potential opportunities or business
partners that will lead to the expansion of the portfolio
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the event series with the view to feeding information
from clients who have identified opportunities to improve the events
• Responsible for event onboarding and matching processes
• Network to the best possible customer standards before, during and after events to ensure
the highest levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensure that data returns are received post event and used to drive the business forward
• Helping the team where necessary in any other duties related to Events
The candidate:
This position requires a self-motivated and confident professional who can demonstrate:
• Experience in achieving and exceeding targets
• Ability to use evidence and research to help shape the future direction of networking events
• Ability to negotiate with senior industry executives to identify opportunities to enhance the
brand, in reputation and participation
• A background in the B2B travel environment
• Experience in consultative selling and objection handling
• Excellent communication skills
