Email Marketing Executive

My client is a specialist tour operator based near Nottingham and they are looking for an email marketing executive who's also passionate about travel. The well-established company are travel specialists, taking groups to destinations all over Europe and further afield.

The role will involve you taking ownership of the email marketing channel. You'll have a passion for crafting compelling campaigns to support our marketing initiatives and, of course, drive sales. You'll have an analytical, results-oriented approach. And you'll have a proven track record of creating email strategy that supports our business objectives and drives growth. You'll know how to create email content that speaks in our tone of voice, and you'll be comfortable adapting it for different audiences.

DUTIES:

To produce, develop and own the email marketing strategy, including: content ideation, scheduling emails, writing copy and designing visual assets.

Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies.

Design and create email automation campaign flows.

Establish an A/B testing programme for all email activity to support campaign optimisation.

Track & analyse campaign performance & results.

Create and manage complex customer segments.

Support the overall development of the CRM strategy working alongside the Head of Marketing & Content Manager.

To ensure contact data is cleansed and maintained.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

At least two years of experience working in a similar role.

Experience working with analytics tools to monitor and demonstrate campaign performance.

Good knowledge and experience of customer segmentation.

Confident using design software (Canva and photoshop) to create visual campaign assets.

Experience designing complex email and CRM automation flows.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.

Have an interest in travel and a good knowledge of the destinations/products we offer.

THE PACKAGE

Salary £28,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience plus annual 5% of salary bonus, Flexible working, Hybrid working in Nottingham along with a generous annual leave allowance and other company benefits.
