Ski Travel Consultant

Is Ski your passion? Have you skied in European, Canadian or American ski resorts and would love to use your knowledge and passion? A well-established Tour Operator in Edinburgh is growing and seeking, a Ski fanatic to work as a Ski Travel Sales Consultant, creating tailor-made ski & snowboarding experiences for their discerning clientele. If you have worked ski seasons and can demonstrate your passion, then this specialist Ski Travel Company will train and develop you! This role comes with a starting salary of circa £23.5k pa, but with additional commission, bonuses and incentives and discounts and there is the option to work hybrid after training.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Answering telephone or online enquiries from direct clients and travel agents for ski itineraries to a wide variety of ski resorts
• Building appropriate tailor-made itineraries based on client requirements, using your knowledge of ski and ski resorts
• Building relationships with your clients and travel agents to ensure you understand their needs
• Successfully turning enquiries into confirmed bookings
• Ensuring any subsequent enquiries by clients are handled in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Working 5 days on a rota Mon-Sat, office hours

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

If you have worked ski seasons and want to turn this experience into a career into ski tour operating we want to hear from you. Or you will be a seasoned skier having experienced a wide variety of ski resorts, and be passionate and knowledge about skiing, with experience in a sales or target driven environment. THE PACKAGE:

Starting salary is circa £23.5k pa and there is opportunity to increase this with commission and bonuses, plus the opportunity for discounts on your own holidays and the opportunity to join educational trips.. This is a well-established tour operator which is expanding, so long term career prospects are good. They also offer flexible working (after training), so you can choose to do a mix of office and home-working.
