GENERAL MANAGER - LUXURY TRAVEL

This boutique travel brand continues to develop and grow within the HNW market. In support of this, they are looking to bolster their talent with a passionate General Manager / Travel Manager to join them at their SW London offices. The Role will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for both people and office management.

Responsibilities:

• Adopt a hands-on approach and manage the day to day sales and office operations
• Ensure the brand’s front and back office continues to offer a high-calibre service to its HNW clientele
• Inspire to drive sales and focus on enhancing customer experience
• Manage employee’s overall performance: A balance between efficiency and happiness
• Transfer of Knowledge: ensure your team members are on top of their game and contribute towards a positive working environment
• Manager team KPI's, maintain quality levels and develop performance improvement measures
• Identifying training needed and plan training sessions
• Monitor marketing, promotional and social media activity
• Attend supplier events and develop commercial relationships
• Report sales figures and performance to Managing Director
• Interview and recruit staff, conduct monthly catch ups
• Keep up to date with luxury products and competitors
• Be hands on with bookings, assist with the overflow calls and contribute to sales
• Working closely with the MD with the launch of new products and projects

• Travel Manager / GM experience gained within Tour Operation / Online Travel /Retail Travel
• Hands-on decisive leader with a strategic mind-set
• Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people
• Possess solid understanding luxury products, sales KPIs, and demonstrate strategic capability
• Investigative/inquisitive nature, with strong focus on results
• GDS experience essential

The Package & Working Hours:

• Basic salary from £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus performance bonus
• On-site with option for hybrid working
• Working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
