Luxury Travel Consultant

This exclusive luxury travel company are looking for an experienced, passionate in-house Luxury Travel Specialist to join our Lifestyle team, based at our London offices . The ideal specialist will have previous experience working within luxury travel and have in-depth knowledge of travel systems. You will be responsible for advising and booking client travel along with conducting proactive outreach.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Travel Specialist specifically dealing with high-end clientele.

The ideal candidate is a professional who is creative, resilient, agile, reliable, and proactive. You will be experienced at developing and evolving travel concepts that will deliver outstanding results and isn't afraid to be hands-on with the work while we grow.

Experience:

• Previous experience in selling luxury travel is essential.
• Demonstrable experience using online travel tools to book and communicate with suppliers.
• Travel sold must include bespoke experiential trips as well as high-end seasonal holidays.
• Experience of dealing with HNWI + UNHNWI is highly recommended.
• The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and know-how to handle the most demanding of clients.
• The job requires a good level of commercial skill and previous experience in doing deals with hotels and other travel components will be a distinct advantage.
• Experience in executing luxury tailor-made travel itineraries and preparing quotes.

Skills:

• Must be computer literate and able to adopt and work with different systems (knowledge of Dolphin is desirable)
• Previous use of GDS booking software is essential
• Should be prepared to go the extra mile outside of office hours.
• An understanding of the airline industry from a B2B point of view is advantageous.
• A book of clients would be a distinct advantage.
• Specific destination expertise is an advantage.
