Tailormade Travel consultant:
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an independent Retail travel agent as a Tailormade Travel Consultant, based in the suburbs of Newcastle. You will be selling holidays to customers for worldwide tailormade holidays and trips, Face to face in a retail travel shop and over the phone. Salary is £25,000 - £27,000 basic, depending on experience, plus perks and benefits

The successful candidate will have previous tailormade travel sales experience, using a GDS and excellent worldwide holiday destination knowledge to include long haul .

As a Tailormade Travel consultant you will:

• Sell holidays face to face and over the phone ranging from short breaks to Mediterranean to cruising holidays and lots of worldwide
• Up sell additional extras and suggest those that complement the customers package
• Switch selling of sold out destinations or holidays
• Tailor make packages to the clients needs
  

Tailormade Travel consultant Skills required:

• Travel sales experience, having worked for a Travel company previously selling longhaul holidays
• Target driven and determination to succeed
• Excellent telephone manner with excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport to gain repeat customers
