Food & Beverage Service Associate
My client is dedicated to providing our guests with an exceptional experience, blending luxury with warmth and professionalism. We are looking for a passionate and service-oriented Food & Beverage Service Associate to join our team.
Scope and Purpose: As a Food & Beverage Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptionally high standard of service across all aspects of food and beverage, housekeeping, and guest satisfaction. Your flexibility and commitment to excellence will be key in creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with the companies Leading Quality Assurance standards.
- Prepare restaurant cars and related areas to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure the wellbeing and safety of passengers in your allocated car.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep.
- Assist with depot, Victoria Lounge, and departure point operations.
- Handle guest interactions with professionalism and hospitality.
- Stay informed about onboard menus and boutique items.
- Foster a team environment that encourages collaboration and feedback.
- Address passenger requests, including dietary or special occasion needs.
- Uphold personal cleanliness and appearance standards.
- Comply with HACCP, Food Hygiene Good Practices, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Promote environmental awareness in daily tasks.
Standard Responsibilities:
- Conduct yourself professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
- Maintain integrity and uphold the trust placed in you by the company.
- Meet performance standards and adhere to quality assurance practices.
- Dress appropriately for work and maintain a professional image.
- Complete mandatory training in a timely manner.
- Protect confidential information related to the company and its stakeholders.
Compliance & Health & Safety:
- Work safely to prevent injury to yourself and others.
- Promote Health & Safety compliance within the department.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the correct Code of Conduct.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food and beverage service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing needs - working on average 39 hours a week.
