Senior Business Travel Consultant

Opportunity for a Senior Business Travel Consultant to join an award-winning company in Hampshire. As a Senior Business Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional travel solutions to our corporate clients, delivering tailored services that meet their business needs. You will be a key member of the team, supporting and leading tasks that ensure seamless, efficient, and cost-effective travel planning for clients.

The Job:

• Manage end-to-end business travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
• Provide expert travel advice, ensuring compliance with travel policies and optimizing travel experiences.
• The implementation of new clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their unique travel requirements.
• Enhance current travel programs and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and cost savings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and technology to provide the best service possible.
• Potential to lead and mentor a team, overseeing travel consultants and supporting their growth and development.
• Handle escalated client queries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Skills required:

• Extensive experience in business travel consultancy or a similar role.
• A proven ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with strong attention to detail.
• Motivated and proactive, with a desire to enhance existing systems and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of travel booking tools and platforms.
• Leadership potential, with the ability to take on management responsibilities in the future.
• Proven experience and strong proficiency in using GDS platforms Travelport & Amadeus and online booking tools is essential. Problem solving and ability to think outside the box.
