Do you have previous travel experience within a retail or tour operator background?
I am seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency in South Essex. This role will suit someone with good Travel Agency experience, excellent customer service and a passion for travel looking for the flexibility to work full time or part time (4 days), with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £26,000+ commission.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
- Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
- Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
- Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
- Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
- Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
- Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
- Passionate about travel and customer service
- Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude
THE PACKAGE:
A competitive starting salary of £25,000 - £26,000 + commission
HOURS:
- Full time or Part time (4 days)
- Working shifts between Monday - Saturday; 9.00am - 5.30pm
